For the past 5 years, my business partner and I have been using ReadyHosting as our primary web hosting provider. In the beginning, the company was magnificant, but lately they’ve…well…completely sucked! I needed a web host that could give me the power that I get from dedicated hosts, but at reseller/shared hosting prices. I tried at least five other web hosts in the past few years and I found that Host Monster was the absolute best I could find.Let me warn you, this is REALLY cheap hosting. The marketing concept that Host Monster has developed is to offer things that people want, like unlimited domains, unlimited bandwidth (not really unlimited though), and hundreds of GB’s of space. They only offer LINUX hosting, so you’re stuck using OpenSource technology like PHP, CGI/Perl, and Ruby On Rails–which has actually been a godsend!
I run 9 websites on HostMonster now and I haven’t had any problems at all. I also pay for website monitoring, and since using the service since June 2006, I have only had one outage (which is remarkable considering the daily outages I got with ReadyHosting).
Here is a special link for you to check out the service. If you sign up via my link, you are able to take advantage of special pricing that you wouldn’t get if it were from anywhere else.
