Affiliate marketing is one of the many ways I make money with on the Internet. I’ve been meaning to write this for a while, because I think that’s important that people are aware and comfortable about whose trying to sell them products on the Internet.
You’ll notice that I feature several products that I promote throughout this website. Although I have plenty of quality content that has helped many people, I find it important to disclose that sometimes when I recommend a product, I do get compensated for the promotion in some way shape or form. Sometimes I’m given a free copy of the product in exchange for a product review, sometimes I’m compensated for providing a backlink to the product developers website (which increases their Google PageRank), and sometimes I’m paid a finders fee for the customers I send their direction.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with how Internet Marketing works (and how the Internet functions), traffic is a very valuable thing and it allows this very website to exist. We don’t advertise by throwing Google AdSense throughout these pages, instead, once in a while we review a product (good or bad) and get compensated for the review. I wanted to post this message as a reminder that we ALWAYS give honest reviews, but we have to be compensated in order to fund this website.
The information you find on this website is completely free and a lot of it is the same information you could spend thousands of dollars for in subscriptions to Internet Marketing groups, affiliate groups, and advertising groups. In order to keep this website free, we occasionally do affiliate with other companies. Here are a few companies that I recommend if you’d like to get started making money online (that I do affiliate with):
- Host Monster - the best web host around! I’ve saved hundreds of dollars this year.
- ClickBank Marketplace - the best place to promote products as an affiliate or as a publisher. I make a significant income monthly using this service.
- Micro Niche Finder Tool - a great tool to find profitable niches to advertise with online.
- GetResponse - the best lead management company for collecting e-mail addresses, managing mailing lists, sending follow-ups and auto-responders
- WordTracker - the best tool for doing keyword research and finding the search terms that are currently popular. Well worth the investment!
- KeywordDiscovery - another great tool for keyword research. Similar to WordTracker, but sometimes provides different results. I like to run both services with Keyword Elite.
- Article Submitter Gold - a free tool to submit articles to article directories and get high PR backlinks to your website.
And that’s just a start! Almost all Internet Marketers I know use these tools in some capacity, but I rely on them heavily!
